24th April 2017 – Training For A New Cycle Challenge

Morning all. Back to school after the Easter holidays, back to work, back to running around like headless chickens before 8am. Hope you’re hanging in there.

The weekend was also pretty busy at Trust HQ and for a few of our friends. A gang of Trust supporters took part in a 58-mile cycle sportive at Rutland Water, as part of their training for a big challenge they are undertaking later this year in aid of the Trust. We’ll be able to say more about it in the coming weeks and will share more details – it’s going to be a cracker and a massive undertaking for the team!

So, on Saturday, Shane Hodson, Damien Prior, Matt Groves, Andy Radcliffe, Paul Hart and Mark Burns (Campbell’s Daddy) forced their weary legs around a 58-mile circuit. The weather stayed dry and they had a great day. Few scrapes along the way but nothing they can’t handle.

We’re looking forward to sharing more information with you about what they are up to soon – watch this space!

Love Bekki and Mark xx
