Hello all. We’re really pleased to bring you some news about a few fundraising events that were held over the weekend.
Churchdown Day Nursery in Cheltenham held their Summer Fayre in aid of the Trust on Saturday, selling lots of lovely home-made goodies. There was a visit from firemen and their engine, a DJ, face-painting, a tomboloa and lots of other fun stuff. We’re really grateful to Terri and the awesome nursery staff, and all the families and kiddiwinks who came along. One of Campbell’s bugs even found his way onto the fire engine dashboard!
Also on Saturday, the parents of the Under-10s team at Coalville Rugby Club made a donation of £100 towards the London to Paris cycle challenge, which takes place later this year. Three of the Under-10s coaches (Mark, Matt and Andy) are taking part in the challenge, and the Under-10 parents were very generous in their support. Thank you so much!
Finally, Sunday saw Trust supporter, Marisha Kinghorn, take part in the Baker Hughes 10K run around Aberdeen, in aid of the Trust. Marisha powered her way around the course in 53 minutes and 45 seconds – superwoman! Thank you very, very much.
We’ll let you know how much the events have raised in due course but a BIG THANK YOU to all of those who sponsored, bought, donated and took part in a fundraising event. We can’t do what we do without YOU xx
Love Bekki and Mark xx
