The Campbell Burns Metabolic Trust is delighted to announce that Joe Gray, hooker for Harlequins and current member of the England Rugby Union Saxons squad, has kindly agreed to be the charity’s patron.
Joe is an up-and-coming star in the rugby world and has been incredibly supportive towards the Trust whilst it was being established. Joe is described by Harlequins as “one of the brightest young prospects in the country.” He previously played for Northampton Saints at Hooker and signed for Harlequins in 2010. He also debuted for England Saxons in June of the same year, and has recently returned from South Africa, having been part of the England Elite Player Squad. For the first time in Harlequins club’s history, they won the Aviva Premiership in May this year 2012, beating Leicester Tigers in the Final at Twickenham. Joe was an integral part of the winning team.
We are thrilled that Joe plans to continue being part of The Campbell Burns Metabolic Trust’s development. His support will help the charity to grow from strength to strength.
